MUSIC INSTRUCTION

All ages and skill levels can take advantage of the excellent individual music instruction offered by A & A Music & Art Academy in Hanover Park, Illinois, and the nearby communities. The degreed, experienced faculty members take great pleasure in imparting their musical knowledge and enthusiasm. Our faculty members have worked for the school for a long time and deliver excellent teaching in the enjoyable, familial setting of the academy. Students join our musical family when they enroll in our institution. We hope you'll join us. With our piano tuning and repair service, we also give your piano professional attention.

A & A Music & Art Academy offers private music lessons on piano, organ, keyboards, voice, guitar, drums, band, violin, and viola by appointment only.  Lesson times are available Monday through Friday, and Saturdays.  Lessons are scheduled on a half-hour basis, once per week, with tuition fees collected monthly.   Advanced lessons are 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on level.

Standard Private Lesson Rate:  $35.00 ($140 or $175/mo.)

Advanced Student Lesson Rate:  Begins at $40.00 (Fees based on experience level)

Our degreed faculty provides the highest quality music education for you or your child.  In addition to weekly lessons, A & A Music & Art Academy offers two recital programs held at the Good Shepherd Church in Bartlett.  These are usually held in late April and November each year.  More advanced students may also participate in local contests or competitions.   

ART INSTRUCTION

Ages 8 and up can take art classes at the A & A Music & Art Academy in charcoal, oil pastels, colored pencils, pen and ink, and watercolor. More experienced artists looking to progress their skills or perhaps learn a new medium are also welcome. Classes are offered in the evenings and on Saturdays, and they are kept small so that each student receives individualized attention. The two-hour lessons fly by as the students hone their abilities and complete each new piece of art.

Basic drawing essentials start you off and the class expands as your skills develop. Options to add other media, e.g., colored pencil, pastels, pen & ink, graphite, and watercolor are offered. Classes are open to ages 8 and up. Pick the class time that fits best with your schedule.

Monday 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Friday 4:15-6:15 p.m. & 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 12:30-2:30 p.m.

$35 per 2-hour class, paid monthly after the first trial lesson. 


Some class materials are an additional cost.  At the first session, a list of required materials will be given. Maximum of 7 students per class.

In addition to weekly lessons, the academy offers the chance for the students to show off their talents for their family and friends. Art exhibitions for our budding artist students are also held locally or in the lower level of our building at the instructor’s discretion.
